Terms and Conditions
Specific Terms:
1. Applications are only open to residents of Australia. The application form can be found at cash4clubs.betfair.com.au
2. Promotion is open only to non-for-profit sporting clubs registered with the governing body of their respective sports who are based and operate in Australia. Proof of registration is required for the successful applicants.
3. The judging panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. Betfair accept no liability for any entry form or other documentation relating to the promotion being lost or damaged in transit. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
5. By entering, grant applicants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6. Winners will be promoted on this website and may be asked to participate in other publicity if required.
7. The maximum amount per judging period that will be granted to all clubs is $10,000AUD.
8. All grant amounts are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Grants are a one off payment, paid directly to the registered sporting body. The one-off payment must
be used on the goods or services nominated on the application form within 2
months of being paid by Betfair. A failure to do so will entitle Betfair
to revoke the grant.
10. Any use of the Betfair logo must be approved prior to use.
11. Grants will be offered every four months, confirmation of these dates will be published at cash4clubs.betfair.com.au
12. Applications received after the closing date (outlined on the website) will not be accepted.
13. Clubs can only receive one grant per calendar year.
14. Applications will expire after each period, and clubs must resubmit an application to be eligible for the next review of grants.
15. Things Betfair will not consider;
- Political or religious organisations
- Sponsorships that may be construed as racially prejudiced or otherwise discriminatory
- Sponsorships that may be considered dangerous
- Sporting tours (e.g. end of season trips)
- Profit making organisations, such as closed corporations or companies
- Projects that create environmental hazards
- Events sponsored by competitors
- Events that take place outside Australia
Standard Terms:
1. You must be aged 18 years or older to apply for Cash 4 Clubs. Underage entries will be void.
2. By entering you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any specific terms and conditions and applicable instructions relating to Cash 4 Clubs
3. Fraudulent, or incorrectly completed entries will not be accepted, neither will entries made in breach or non-compliance with these terms and conditions. No liability is accepted for entries that are not received for any reason by Betfair.
4. Entries not fully complying with these conditions of entry may be deemed invalid at the Belfair’s discretion. Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of Betfair) the judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Grants are not transferable or exchangeable other than in the sole discretion of Betfair.
6. In the event of any inconsistency between these conditions of entry and any promotional materials regarding Cash 4 Clubs, these conditions of entry shall prevail.
7. If for any reason any aspect of Cash 4 Clubs is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Betfair which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of Cash 4 Clubs, Betfair may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Cash 4 Clubs, or invalidate any affected entries.
8. By applying for Cash 4 Clubs, in the event that you are a winner you agree to reasonable use of your name and image on the websites and in promotional materials produced by or on behalf of Betfair.
9. You hereby assign any and all copyright or other intellectual property rights in your entry to Betfair for Betfair’s unrestricted usage and agree to do all such acts and/or execute or procure the execution of all such documents in a form reasonably satisfactory to Betfair to confirm Betfair’s full ownership of such rights.
10. Betfair in its sole discretion reserves the right to withdraw or vary these Terms and Conditions and/or any offer made in connection with them in order to comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body and shall not be held liable to any entrant for so doing.
11. The decision of Betfair in respect of any matter concerning or related to Cash 4 Clubs is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions Betfair reserves the right to take such action as it deems appropriate in its absolute discretion.
13. Betfair accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any end user.
14. Betfair and its affiliates and subsidiaries, or any of their employees, officers or directors shall not be liable for any damages howsoever arising as a result of a participant's or winner's participation in Cash 4 Clubs or any such modification, alteration, discontinuance or termination of Cash 4 Clubs, and any such liability shall be borne solely and exclusively by the participant or winner, as the case may be.
15. You agree that these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tasmania and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Tasmania.
16. Any use of the registered trade mark BETFAIR® and/or the BETFAIR LOGO is with the consent of the trade mark owner The Sporting Exchange Limited.
